Th e combination of mirror finish and water buffalo horn handle is beautiful and makes this knife visually striking.The blade is single-bevel Hagane (carbon steel) with a sharp cutting edge.The knife has been sharpened and is ready to use immediately upon arrival. Please take care when opening the package. The listed price already includes the sharpening service.Blade oil has been applied for storage, so the mirror-finished areas may appear cloudy. Lightly washing with dish soap will restore the original luster.Please note that mirror or semi-mirror finishes are often applied only to part of the blade rather than the entire edge.
