Lucy Howard Cohen (1944-2019) This late 20th century oil on paper abstract is by Lucy Howard Cohen (1944-2019). Cohen was born in 1944 in Greenwich Village (Manhattan) into the hea rt of the Abstract Expressionist, avant garde art scene. She did her undergraduate work in Madison, WI and later moved to the Bay Area and completed her Doctorate in Psychology at U.C. Berkeley, This would form the foundation for her practice as an artist and a psychologist. Late 20th Century Oil on Paper 10"x11.75" framed, 7"x8.75" unframed Estate stamped on back. Framed floating in a contemporary wood frame with a black center and gray wash finish using archival matting behind conservation clear glass. Excellent vintage condition. Show more
