Lucy Howard Cohen (1944-2019) This late 20th century ink and oil abstract on paper is by Lucy Howard Cohen (1944-2019). Cohen was born in 1944 in Greenwich Village (Manhattan) into the heart of the Abstract Expressionist, avant garde art scene. She did her undergraduate work in Madison, WI and later moved to the Bay Area and completed her Doctorate in Psychology at U.C. Berkeley, This would form the foundation for her practice as an artist and a psychologist. Late 20th Century Ink & Oil on Paper 14"x14" framed, 6.25"x6.25" unframed Estate stamped lower right. Framed in a restored vintage wood frame with a flat black finish using 8-ply archival museum-style matting behind conservation clear glass. Excellent vintage condition. Show more
