Morris Kronfeld This c. 1960s ink and pastel on paper surreal city scene is by Morris Kronfeld (1914-2011), a New York Modernist artist. He studied art, biology, & art history at B rooklyn College and received a master's degree at NYU. An art teacher and district art supervisor, Kronfeld had a lifelong career with the NYC Board of Education. He traveled extensively every summer, painting & drawing, and exhibited in Brooklyn and Greenwich Village. c. 1960s Ink and Pastel on Paper 16.5"x21.5" framed, 15"x20" unframed Signed in the lower right inside the image area. Excellent vintage condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with an angel face and Padauk finish using clear spacers behind conservation clear glass. Show more
