Jane Mitchell This 1970s monotype on paper abstract is by East Coast painter, printmaker, and designer Jane Mitchell (1915-1988). Mitchell studied Art History and Fine Art at Wheat on College and University of Iowa. She lived and worked in Ibiza, Spain during the 1950s-60s and was influenced by Cubism and Surrealism. Mitchell exhibited throughout the U.S. and Spain during her lifetime. 1970s Monotype on Paper 26.25"x28.75" framed, 20.25"x17.75" unframed Estate stamped on the back. Excellent vintage condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a textured black finish using clear spacers and archival matting behind conservation clear glass. Show more
