The Ledlenser C5R Classic steps up from the C3R with significantly higher output, extended runtime and a unique charging system that removes the need to ever remove the battery from the torch. At 420 lumens with a 240-metre beam, the C5R Classic is a genuinely capable everyday torch that covers the range from close-range home use to outdoor activities, dog walking, workplace tasks and emergency preparedness - all in a 117mm, 75g aluminium body. The Floating Charge System is the C5R Classic's most distinctive practical feature: the torch charges in its included cradle via a USB cable without the battery being removed — simply place it in the cradle when not in use and it is ready to go when needed. A strobe mode adds emergency signalling capability. The Advanced Focus System with Rapid Focus and a focus lock provide beam control across the full spot-to-flood range, and 15 hours of low-power runtime ensures it lasts well beyond a single evening's use. Light Modes: Power — 420 lumens / 240m beam / 3-hour runtime Low power — 20 lumens / 50m beam / 15-hour runtime Strobe — emergency signalling Endless Benefits: Floating Charge System — charges in the included cradle via USB without removing the battery from the torch; place it on the cradle when not in use and it is always ready — no cables to connect to the torch directly, no battery to extract. 420 lumens / 240-metre beam — serious output for an everyday carry torch; three modes including strobe for emergency signalling. 15-hour low-power runtime — 20 lumens at low power for up to 15 hours; practical for extended use across multiple evenings from a single charge. Advanced Focus System with Rapid Focus and focus lock — one-handed beam adjustment from wide flood to focused spot; focus lock holds the beam at the selected position during sustained use. Aluminium alloy housing — robust metal construction with gold-plated contacts; IP54 dust and splash resistance and 1-metre drop tested. Replaceable 700mAh battery — the 14500 Li-ion battery is replaceable when it eventually degrades; replacement available separately (item 7703).
