The 6.5" DMA-optimized woofers use forged and machined motor components, a large flat spider, an oversized voice coil, and JL’s Elevated Frame Cooling technology. The result: exceptional midbass impact, low distortion, and linear response even at high volumes. The 1" silk dome tweeters use edge-driven diaphragms for smooth highs, excellent damping, and great off-axis response—crucial for real-world car installations. Neodymium motors and ferrofluid cooling maintain stability and reliability while allowing a compact design. Both flush-mount and surface-mount housings are included for flexible installation.
