This Cabbage White butterfly brooch forms part of my handmade jewellery collection; a range of vintage inspired pieces featuring my illustrations on laser-cut plywood.I use decoupa ge to apply my illustrations to their wooden shapes, followed by crackle-glaze and finally liquid gold leaf to add speckles & highlight the edges.The back of the brooch is dark brown with a simple pin & hook fastening in an antique bronze colour (made from plated iron.)The butterfly measures 3.5 x 2.3cm and is 4mm thick (minus the brooch fastening.)
