Our 2023 Alexander Valley Cabernet is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the stunning vineyards of the Alexander Valley AVA and Alexander Valley AVA. Aged in 15% new F rench Oak for 16 months, this wine has a deep garnet color and concentrated aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, and cocoa powder layered with hints of graphite, cedar, and sweet tobacco.The palate is lively and full-bodied with fine-grained tannins. Lush dark fruit, and a lingering mocha finish. TASTING & DETAILS VINIFICATION Native yeast fermentaion. No water or acid added. 21 days of maceration - fermented in stainless steel tanks with daily pumpovers for 14 days. 16 months in 15% new French oak barrels - bottled unfined and very gently filtered. COLOR Deep ruby color and rich hue. NOSE Complex with dark fruit flavors. Blueberry, rich plum, and red raspberry are apparent. PALATE Blueberry and black cherry with supply velvety tannins. SERVING SUGGESTIONS Pairs well with steak, grilled meats, and portobello mushrooms. Show more
