The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon fruit was handpicked on the 14th of March. Fermented in open bins, plunged three times a day until dry. Pressed and put into new and old French oak barr els for 18 months. Deep purple hue with notes of oak, spice and bay leaf, touch of vanilla and ginger snap. Smooth sarsaparilla and blueberries and a little hint of mint in the background. Hints of chocolate mocha, good acid balance, oak on the nose integrated into the palate. A young wine that will benefit from decanting. Displays a lovely fine palate and soft velvet tannin. Finish is clean, mouth filling and delicious. 56 cases produced. Show more
