"Sara Watson is a chef, restaurateur, and a mother of four. She graduated from the University of Minnesota and completed an apprenticeship in the professional kitchen at Keystone Ranch in Colorado. Eventually, Sara and her husband Eric moved from Colorado to Fargo. Together they ran a successful catering business and operated three restaurants including Maxwells, Mezzaluna, and Rustica. Sara opened Blackboard near Vergas, Minnesota in 2020. She resides in Moorehead, MN." Sara explains her inspiration for the cookbook was recipes she could try at the cabin.
