Nylon cable glands seal cable entry points into enclosures, switchboards, junction boxes and equipment housings — keeping dust and water out where a cable passes through a panel wa ll. The compression nut clamps down around the cable sheath as it's tightened, forming a sealed, re-openable fitting rather than a one-shot grommet.
