These top-down socks are knitted with one semi-solid main colour and a self-striping contrast colour like Schoppel-Wolle Zauberball Crazy. Stripes and slip stitches with cables form the twisted columns along the leg and top foot. These socks are relaxing to knit with the simple stitch pattern repeat. Choose a light and dark colour for high contrast socks or go soft and subtle with two shades that are closer together in contrast. Other features include 2x2 ribbing for the cuff, a slip stitch heel flap, and stockinette stitch stripes for the sole of the foot. Due to the nature of hand dyed yarn and yarn dyed in batches, there may be some variation in colour between skeins. We take great care in photographing our yarns accurately, but some colours may vary slightly from the picture.
