The power to the lights are controlled by a dimmable on/off switch built into the retro cloth lamp cord. Design Hacks: Create a cactus cluster by daisy changing multiple cactus floor lamps together. You can also get a cluster affect by purchasing the table and floor lamps. Clustering the lamps makes a great focal point for a corner or along a wall, especially with cactus themed wall art behind them. Such as a black and white photograph and fine art. Light bulbs: ONLY USE LED BULBS with this lamp. A typical LED light bulb uses 9 watts of energy compared to traditional 60 watt incandescent light bulbs, which are bad for the environment, as they consume too much energy and produce too much heat.
