The Gluckow Cadet Jacket takes its inspiration from vintage West Point varsity jackets. Like the originals, John Gluckow's version is fully reversible, but while the originals had the same fabric inside and out, this reproduction has opted for a two-tone design, giving two jackets in one, which makes more sense for a reversible jacket anyways. It's cut with a relaxed, bomber-style fit, with knit ribbing at the collar, cuffs, and hem. The body is roomy enough to layer under, but not oversized or exaggerated, and features a single external pocket and a single internal pocket (regardless of which side you wear out). The placket zips closed with a double-sided brass bell-pull zipper, specifically made for reversible garments. The body is a sulfur-dyed selvedge cotton twill, it's got a narrow twill face with a soft hand and a consistent texture throughout. Over time, it'll form some really handsome fades and creases as the fabric wears in, but even brand-now it's comfortable and good-looking. Fits true to size.
