I started my full time career as a visual artist in 2006 by setting up my studio in the front window of a French restaurant in Collingwood, Ontario. In memory of this ballsy time i n my art career, in 2007, I painted the view from my easel looking back at the airy restaurant and it includes Ruth and Patrick, who were the owners of “Café Chartreuse”, as well as their kids who hung out there after school and on weekends 😊 I no longer accept commissions.
