Coffee… You either love it or hate it. For some, it’s the reason to get out of bed in the morning. For others, it’s the reason they are unable to fall asleep at night. Several peop le call it liquid gold. Others call it cocaine light. Which team are you on? Les Bouquinistes art posters represent the seasons and all things delicious. Inspiration was drawn from old botanical prints purchased from booksellers along the Seine in Paris. We use an overlay method that combines old and new, bringing the yesteryear to the present. The original prints date back to somewhere around 1850 (no we did not deface any originals if that’s what you were wondering). This project features twelve representations of different plants, fruits, or vegetables that each flourishes during a corresponding month in the year somewhere in the world.
