The CAFEC DEEP 27 Flower Dripper was developed from a simple desire: to make truly delicious single-cup coffee easier to achieve at home. While the earlier DEEP 45 design created a deep filtering layer suited for larger brews, it wasn’t ideal for preparing just one cup. After years of refinement, CAFEC arrived at the 27° bottom angle precisely calibrated for single servings. That 27° geometry allows even a small dose of coffee to form a sufficient sedimentary layer, encouraging proper extraction depth. Just as importantly, the design aligns the speed of pouring from above with the speed of extraction below. This harmony reduces the need for complex pouring techniques. You can focus your pour steadily at the center and allow the dripper’s structure to guide the flow. The result is a cup with noticeable richness and sweetness, while still preserving the distinct character of the coffee. It draws out pleasant flavor components with clarity and balance, without heaviness. Thoughtfully engineered and patiently developed, the DEEP 27 makes single-cup brewing feel intuitive rather than technical. Why We Chose This We chose the DEEP 27 because it brings genuine depth and balance to one-cup brewing, designed with care, not compromise. A small dripper devoted to your best cup.
