Caffè Borghetti is an Italian coffee liqueur with origins dating back to 1860, when it was created by Ugo Borghetti in the coastal city of Ancona, the liqueur has since become a we ll-known part of Italian café culture and is produced by the historic spirits group Fratelli Branca Distillerie in Italy, continuing the tradition of authentic coffee-based liqueurs rooted in the country’s espresso heritage. Caffè Borghetti is made using espresso coffee brewed from carefully selected Arabica and Robusta beans, blended with alcohol and sugar to create a naturally rich flavour. The coffee is prepared in large batches and combined with the spirit base to preserve its deep roasted character and aromatic intensity. The liqueur shows notes of freshly brewed espresso, cocoa, toasted nuts and dark caramel with a smooth, bittersweet finish. It is traditionally enjoyed chilled, served neat, poured over ice cream, or added to cocktails such as an Espresso Martini, and pairs well with chocolate desserts or tiramisu. Show more
