There is darkness and there is light. There is doubt and hope in life and pain and joy. This is photographic series that is inspired by the painter of light JMW Turner, where form is lost, boundaries are blurred between the material and the etherial and there is always a strong chiarescoeco. My lens is directly aimed at sources of natural or artificial light to explore the tension between light and darkness as a metaphor for faith. Prioritising the impressions of isolation, uncertainty and mystery as feelings over precise representation. Spray paint, layered acrylic, metallic accents | Framed with black aluminium.
