The 12x12x6 box is suitable for a 10" cake on a 1 2" board with top decorations.Both the 12x12x10 and the 12x12x12 boxes are taller boxes to hold your tiered cakes. The newest tall boxes are what they are calling a Flex Box. We received a 12x12x12 with separate lid.
