Enhance your creative skills with our fun and informative sip and decorate party classes. The decorating party is a delightful blend of socialising, creativity and indulgence. Providing guests with a memorable and enjoyable experience that they will cherish long after the party is over. Minimum four guests, you provide the venue, food and drinks. We set up and provide the decorating tools, buttercream ingredients, cakes or cupcakes to be decorated. Activities: Cake Decorating: Each guest is provided with a plain cake and decorating supplies, including different colours of frosting, piping bags, sprinkles, edible glitter and various other cake toppers if applicable. A demo to provide tips and inspiration. Sipping: one welcome glass of bubbly per guest otherwise BYO. Socializing: The party is as much about social interaction as it is about decorating. Guests can chat, share techniques, and admire each other's creations, making it a fantastic opportunity for bonding and making new friends. Party Flow: Welcome and Set-Up: Guests arrive and are greeted with a drink. They find a spot at one of the decorating stations, set up with all the necessary tools and supplies. Demonstration: It typically happens shortly after everyone has arrived. This session offers tips on basic decorating techniques and ideas for inspiration. Decorating Time: Guests start decorating their cakes, experimenting with different designs and styles. I walk around to offer guidance and encouragement. Show and Tell: Once the cakes are decorated, guests can showcase their creations. A casual “best cake” contest might be held with a fun prize for the winner. Enjoy and Share: The party wraps up with guests taking pictures of their cakes, sharing slices, or packing them up to take home. An extra charge applies to travel past the ten-kilometre radius from the Brisbane CBD.
