The Cake Dutchess brand was developed in the Netherlands by the Cake Dutchess herself - renowned cake artist Etty. This excellent modelling paste has a naturally firm texture, meaning it doesn't requite the addition of any tylose powder, gum tragacanth or CMC powder. Because of the firm texture is will hold its shape well once moulded, and won't sag or tear easily. It has a smooth, shiny texture and excellent drying time which allows you plenty time to work on your creations without the dreaded elephant skin developing. This modelling paste is white but it colours beautifully with professional paste or gel icing colours. 10mins kneading time is recommended when using the paste for the first time. If it still feels too firm for your liking, microwave for 15 seconds. Virtually non-stick Ideal for humid climates (won't stick to your fingers) Works well in moulds approx 1kg
