A cultivar of Caladium Bicolor, this variety's foliage has dark green, wide edging, deep pink veining speckled, and white variegation. Native to Central & South America. Although l arge, Caladium leaves are papery thin and delicate so direct light will cause searing brown spots, scorching and/or bleaching. Caladium grow from bulbs or tubers, meaning they will go dormant in winter and old foliage must be cut back at this time to make way for new, spring growth. There are 1000+ cultivars of Caladium, but each one creates a strong, architectural effect and stands out for its bright, multi-coloured patterning.
