About our Calamus Spagyric Tincture :This semi-aquatic plant is native to the entire northern hemisphere. It is always found close to water, residing next to ponds, lakes, rivers, swamps and wetlands. It has been used in perfumery, in food and as a traditional medicine- particularly Ayurvedic medicine, which calls it “Vacha”, meaning “speaking clearly. Calamus is ruled by the Moon, the planetary body of our emotions, dreams and subconscious. Spagyric Tinctures are predominantly attuned to the Alchemical Salt principle (the Physical Body), including a full spectrum of active constituents. Dual & triple extracted tinctures consist of an alcohol extract, an aqueous extract & additional extracts of novel compounds created during the Spagyric process. Not only are we meticulously detailed in following the best of traditional and modern methodology, but also in quality control. All ingredients are lab tested for heavy metals, microbials and pesticides. Local ingredients are hand harvested and processed by ourselves and our partners. In our lab work we use only stainless steel and glassware. All equipment and tools are scutinously cleaned and sterilized with food grade alcohol, vinegar, heat and ultrasonic cleaning.
