This beautiful calathea has "leopard" stripes, hence its name! Like all calatheas / marantas / stromanthes this plant prefers to be out of direct sun, in a more humid environment, and watered with water that is low in minerals. Guess what? If you live in San Francisco we have low light, high humidity, and tap water that is low in minerals! Don't listen to the haters - calatheas are easy peasy if you can reproduce the conditions they like...and if you live in the fog belt, guess what?? You do! Show more
