A beautiful Murano glass sculpture of two lovers embracing, made in massello Murano glass and calcedonio finish. The two figures are supported by a base.Its peculiar colors are due to the calcedonio technique. The coloring effect is obtained by adding to the molten glass a mixture based on different metal oxides. The results are incredible: the maestro has used this peculiar technique to obtain a more dramatic effect: depending on how the sculpture is hit by light and from the viewer's point of view, the hues change. Hand-made in Murano by Andrea Tagliapietra, following the ancient Murano glass techniques. Murano crystal glass and chalcedony. Massello glass, grinded and polished by hand.
