A very fine Calcite from the Wenshan mine in Yunnan, China. Varying between colourless, milky white and pale tan, the sharp pyramidal crystals form a stalactitic, sceptre-like spec imen, with small 2 to 5 mm crystals covering the stem and larger crystals to 1 cm forming an enlarged cap. A lovely example of this habit of Calcite and typical of the Wenshan mine. Show more
