Calendula is a powerful antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal topical application that you put on open cuts. No germs can thrive in the presence of Calendula and it can draw out deeply embedded dirt. Calendula ointment is wonderful for cuts, scrapes and falls and prevents too early of scab formation at the wound site and keeps on actively working on the site until the wound is healed, this helps to prevent scars and infections.
