Acavallo Calfskin Anatomic Girth - Acavallo created this high-quality anatomic girth made from high-grade calfskin leather and equipped it with stainless steel roller buckles, two lateral D-rings and the Acavallo gel panel inserts to offer you and your horse security, excellent air circulation and a long-lasting product. To ensure maximum comfort for your horse the integrated gel panel is composed of the classic Acavallo gel which is hypoallergenic and non-toxic and is therefore suitable for every horse. The special design of the integrated gel panel eliminates the risk of pinching and relieves pressure on the sensitive internal organs of your horse, whilst allowing an increased blood circulation and supply of oxygen. The arrangement of the individual gel padding elements was developed to facilitate breathing and reduce transpiration through an efficient airflow pattern, preventing excessive heat accumulation even under high-performance conditions. To ensure safety and significantly lower the risk of the horse's hoof entangling in the girth and falling when jumping, the girth features an aluminium snap hook with a soft rubber safety cover. In addition to this safety concern which Acavallo had in mind when developing this special hook – i.e. creating a smooth martingale/girth connection excluding any unnecessary, potential points of engagement of the horseshoe or hoof – ease of use was another main objective implemented in the design of this sturdy and long-life hook.
