In 2008 “Call Me a Cab” was a real departure for me. Judy and I wanted to give our friends and family a unique holiday gift. I gathered a number of items they had given us, includi ng wine foil cutters, corkscrews, glass stoppers, and bottles of wine, took several dozen photos, and created a painting of those gift objects.
