Check competition rulings regarding the use of valerian root. 1 tube contains 2,750 mg valerian root, 1,000 mg thiamine, 750 mg tryptophan, 250 mg taurine and 250 mg inositol. Directions: Adult horse (900-1,100 lbs) - 1 tube 2-4 hours prior to event. May be given 1-2 days in advance or as needed. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven.
