Hard chrome finish Fully rackable design Precision needle bearings Fits all 50mm Olympic weight plates Fine knurled grip 20kg weight Spring collars included The 1RM Cambered Row Barbell is a specialty Olympic bar designed for rows, pulls and upper body strength training. Measuring 2200mm in length with a 28mm shaft and 50mm Olympic sleeves, it can be used independently for bent-over rows or paired with the 1RM Bench Pull for supported row training. The 150mm cambered section creates additional clearance between the bar and the bench or torso, allowing the bar to travel further before reaching the end of the movement. This makes it particularly useful for lifters wanting a greater range of motion during rowing movements. Features The Cambered Row Bar features a 150mm camber with a 320mm inside camber length. This additional depth provides greater clearance during rows and pulls, allowing the elbows to travel further behind the body when the bar is used with a bench pull setup. The bar is specifically designed to fit around the 1RM Prone Row Bench, allowing the lifter to lie flat and supported while the cambered section travels around the bench. It can also be used independently for traditional bent-over row variations. The 28mm shaft uses fine, grippy knurling to provide a secure grip during pulling movements. Dual IPF and IWF knurl marks provide reference points for consistent hand placement across different exercises. The shaft is finished in black hard chrome, while the sleeves use silver hard chrome to provide a durable plated surface with resistance to wear and corrosion. Each sleeve rotates on two needle bearings and one bushing, giving the bar a total of four needle bearings and two bushes. The bearings reduce friction as the sleeves rotate, while the bushes provide additional support and stability within the sleeve assembly. Double circlip ends secure the sleeve assembly without relying on an end bolt that can gradually loosen during use. The 50mm Olympic sleeves accept all Olympic weight plates, making the bar easy to integrate into an existing free weights setup. Training Applications The Cambered Row Barbell is primarily designed for rowing and pulling movements where the recessed centre section provides additional clearance and range of movement. Perfect for: Bench pulls Bent-over rows Supported rows Upper back training General pulling exercises Upper body accessory work Ideal Training Environments The 1RM Cambered Row Barbell is suitable for commercial gyms, personal training studios, schools, sporting clubs, strength and conditioning facilities and home gyms. It is particularly useful for facilities wanting to provide additional row variations alongside traditional straight barbells. For supported row training, pair the Cambered Row Barbell with the 1RM Prone Row Bench, which the 150mm cambered section is specifically designed to fit around.
