Place slide in Stain-Buffer Diluent mixture for 6 minutes.(i.e, Wright Stain 20mL + Buffer Diluent 100mL) 5 Deionized Water 100 % E. Rinse with Deionized Water and then let slide dry. General Notes When product/procedure work as expected at the beginning and then later results are not as high quality, change ALL solutions, as they are probably contaminated. It usually occurs during continuous, heavy use and when jars are left open (exposed) to the air. Exposure to moist air causes precipiation. Make sure all slides are clean prior to making the blood smear, if not, stain will not absorb properly onto the smear. Whenever automated staining machines are used, it is very important not to allow any chemical to dry in the delivery tubes. The lines utilized in steps 1, 2, and 3 must be rinsed with fixative (Methanol) and the lines used in steps 4 and 5 must be rinsed with distilled water to insure proper delivery of all process chemicals. **For In Vitro Diagnostic Use.**
