This Type C Camlock has a 1/2" ID compared to the 3/8" ID of a standard camlock, this size increase allows Brewers to maximize flow rates. Although this Camlock is larger than standard it is still compatible with 1/2" Silicone Hose.Use this barbed fitting to connect onto a male camlock. Add hose to your barb for quick connecting and disconnecting when you need it.Compatible with Type A, E, F & Dust Plug. Note Regarding "Fit":Some may find that occasionally the male and female camlocks can be a little more difficult to connect than usual from time to time. Specifically, that it can take some more effort to close the locking cam arms. In many cases this can be attributed to manufacturing tolerances from lot to lot. Something as simple as the thickness of the gasket can affect how much pressure is needed to push on the cam arms.
