OverviewBlend of two quality coffee producing farms from Nicaragua and Colombia. Cooperativa Agraria Fuente de Bendicion was funded in 2016 by a group of small coffee growers in San Juan Del Rio Coco, in the department of Madriz. San Juan del Rio Coco is becoming one of the new regions within Nicaragua where the coffee industry is expanding and developing new profiles. The region offers many excellent conditions for the productions of high-end coffees but less known than the most traditional regions like Matagalpa and Jinotega. Fuente de Bendicion's goal is to promote sustainable agricultural practices among its members and improve the quality of the flavor profile to gain access to consumers of specialty coffee and obtain better premiums for its 24 members. Colombia Supremo 17/18 is sourced from small- to medium-sized family-owned farms located within the city of Pereira in the department of Risaralda, Colombia. Coffee is cultivated on farms that average about 2.5 hectares in size. Producers pick and process coffee at their own micro-wet mills and then dry their own coffee, typically on elevated tables inside solar dryers that provide protection from the nearly continuous rainy season.
