I have been using this recipe a lot lately to make all the socks for myself and family using both sock yarns as well as leftover yarns from other projects. The simple 3 x 1 broken rib pattern and garter stitch make these socks quite stretchy that ensures great fit and comfort. These socks are knitted from the cuff down and feature a very simple yet comfortable ‘strong style’ heel. All the pattern instructions and measurements are given for fingering weight yarn, however the pattern also contains tips and suggestions on how to adjust it for any other yarn weight and thickness. You can also easily play around with the textured wrapped stitches on the leg of the sock and easily modify the pattern to your liking.
