Also known as a Double Acting Hinge. Spring loaded pivot set, free swings between 90 & 31 degrees, self closes at 30 degrees. Do not open beyond 90 degrees or damage to the pivot will occur. We highly recommend using a stopping device so the door does not swing past 90 degrees. For use on wood or metal doors up to 100 lb., not larger than 3.5 feet wide and 7 feet tall. Camtrol hinge is a type of invisible hinge. The door edges do not need to be beveled or rounded. Camtrol action makes possible a snug application without rounding of the door edge. Cam box is designed to be installed flush with the finished floor. Wood floors that can be mortised work best with this hinge. For door thicknesses of 1-3/8" to 1-3/4". Cam boxes are brass, door brackets are steel (satin chrome plated), cam box trim plates are brass (satin chrome plated). Each cam box measures 3-7/8" by 1-1/4" by 29/32" tall.
