This AutoProPad CAN-FD adapter supports 2020+ vehicles using the Controller Area Network Flexible Data-Rate protocol and is an extension to the original CAN Bus protocol that was s pecified in ISO 11898-1. CAN-FD adapter replaces the standard OBD2 Connector on the AutoProPAD main data cable. No other software or hardware is required, once installed the adapter can be used with existing software and can be interchanged with the standard OBD2 connector.
