Anemone canadensis Central Iowa source (uncleaned, 65% viable by germination, February 2025) Add some nice white to complement any other colors and textures. These bright, perennial flowers bloom May and occasionally again during a late summer cool-down. Some sources claim this species as an aggressive groundcover, though our orchard grows about one-foot high with flower heads and only overtakes bare ground. Be prepared for it to behave either way. Plants will grow in part-shade to full sun. Viability is untested due to seed dormancy. Expect germination after 60 days cold stratification. May require prior warm stratification, though this lot performs well for us with just cold stratification. USDA Fact Sheet Plants are only available for pick up at select cities.
