140 x 120 cm Acrylic, thread and cloth on canvas My grandmother had an amazing talent with thread and needles, creating the most beautiful dresses. I was always mesmerised by the s ound of her sewing machine and couldn't wait to see what she would transform a simple piece of fabric into. One of the most challenging projects I watched her make was a layette, which involved her dedicating hours to crafting a lovely basket that would hold a newborn's first outfits. Show more
