Once cast, the surface is hand-finished, primed, and built up in multiple lacquer coats to achieve the deep liquid-gloss reflectivity the candy-chrome aesthetic demands. The pink head and ears are finished in a mirror-bright chrome pink that genuinely reflects, while the body carries a green ombré graduation — applied by hand to fade cleanly from pale mint at the top down through richer green tones at the base. Every coat is flatted and polished between layers, producing the wet-look depth that separates a true candy finish from a flat painted surface. Eyes, smile, and inner-ear details are picked out by hand to keep the character crisp.
