Stingray is a unique hide with a very intense impact. It is covered in hard calcified nodules that make it like liquid bone. These stingray hides are part of the haul of leather I brought back from Japan. The hides are special in that they have beautiful patterns of large star nodules that go the length of the entire hide. Rather than using the "wings" of the stingray, these are made from this species' back and tail, which is why I've used the hide in the handle to keep the pattern continuous. Stingray can have a cutting edge and users should be mindful of it. The tail on the pink one is 13 inches long, the teal and purple have 15.5 inch tails. All have 8 inch long handles with steel cores. There is only one of each color. Show more
