Care We've found that Spirea grow best in sun that is strong but not so strong that the roots on this plant get dried out. If you wish, you can give it a trim after the flowers fade, which will encourage even more colorful new growth. Best grown in zones 4-8. Growth Habit Candy Corn blooms in early summer or late spring but the foliage is as fascinating as the blooms. It usually gets to 18" high x 2.5′ wide at maturity.
