Bordered by Caribbean Hinoki Cedars and Sandalwood, the secluded bay at the Caneel Sugar Grove, known for its sandy beach and lush flora, was a safe haven for the Privateers of the early 1700’s. As the sugar crop moved to neighboring islands, specimen plants voluntarily filled the fields.
