The Align Tactical® THUMB REST LOCKING BLOCK PIN is compatible with Canik® Rival/Mete/TTI Combat® series "polymer" pistols with the [ SQUARE RECESS ] feature in frame ONLY. (NOT COMPATIBLE with TP9 Series, TP9 SUB METE, Mete MC9 Micro, or **RIVAL-S steel frames). Hardened S7 tool steel part finished in Black Nitride. Approved for USPSA Limited Optics, Limited, Limited 10, and Open divisions. Made in USA with lifetime warranty. *Holster selection requires clearance for extended ledge. Refer to Align Tactical's Compatible Holster Manufacturers for select models. **NOTE: RIVAL-S steel frames impart significant force to the fork compared to the shock absorbing polymer versions during recoil. Any torque applied to the L-shaped pin will induce part stress and not yield to the frame forging (resulting in prying/breakage upon driving-in or after repeated recoil). Requires a dedicated version in the future (no ETA). S-Installs are possible but NOT covered by Warranty, becoming a wear part. Forged frames vary widely in feature dimensions/tolerances and may either be drop-in or require significant fitting of the anti-rotation stop by a gunsmith (up to 1mm of machining or diamond filing of square anti-rotation stop's inside and top edge). HAND-PRESS FIT ONLY insertion, no hammering in. *Legacy TP9 Series are not an option due to design limitations (no square recess and uses roll pins). -- TTI Combat (Taran Tactical Innovations) frames vary between a perfect fit or hair of play. Can be shimmed rock-solid with a sliver/shaving of material placed between a side wall of the frame recess and the anti-rotation stop upon insertion.
