A serving delivers 14% anthocyanins and brings with it the immune care you might need to help relieve cold and flu symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat, or upper respiratory ailments. Why use elderberry and vitamin C together? Elderberry is best known for its ability to help alleviate cold and flu by acting as a diaphoretic to promote sweating, which helps rid the body of toxins. But it has been used in traditional medicine for centuries as an anti-inflammatory remedy (to help with everything from allergies, aches, fevers, skin, joint and immune-related conditions). Elderberries are a rich source of phenolic acid, flavonols, and anthocyanins – powerful antioxidants good for our daily health. Likewise, vitamin C aids in the production of white blood cells, which work to protect the body against infection while acting as an antioxidant capable of preventing oxidative stress. Oxidative stress can cause cell and tissue damage, making us more vulnerable to infections, chronic inflammation, and other degenerative diseases. Together this pair packs a good punch! Choose Elderberry C to keep a good defence when life gets busy and you need extra support. Formulated with a delicious Berry Burst flavour suitable for ages 5 and up!
