Our Canvas & Harris Tweed Scottish Backpack is a special kind of accessory. The first thing you notice is the mix of textures, the sturdy, heavyweight canvas that feels like it can handle just about anything, and the top flap made of genuine Harris Tweed, the kind that's handwoven on Scottish islands where the craft is still done the old way. The tweed has a quiet beauty to it; the herringbone and tartan patterns look like they were pulled straight from a Highland hillside or a weathered old cottage. And if you want something to match it, our Handwoven Small Women's Harris Tweed Wallet pairs beautifully with the tweed flap on this backpack. It's the sort of bag that balances practicality with a sense of heritage. The layout inside is one of those things you appreciate more and more as you use it. There's a padded sleeve that fits a tablet perfectly, smaller pockets for chargers and cards, a rear zip pocket you end up using constantly, and even a little key clip that saves you from rummaging at the door. The size hits that sweet spot too, sized at 12.99" × 12.99" × 5.11" big enough to be useful. The closure is clever: it looks like a traditional buckle but closes magnetically, so it keeps that vintage look without slowing you down. And the shoulder straps are wide, soft, and easy to adjust, which makes the backpack comfortable even when it's full. Show more
