The Bay of Fundy is home to the largest tidal variations recorded in the world. Twice a day the water roars in and out of the basin, ranging up to 12 meters. No, this isn't a scien ce class, but it is a pretty cool thing to witness. And one of my favourite places to see it is on the hike to Cape Split. The spectacular cliff-top views at the end of the trail are worth the 13km journey.
