Players start out as chief executive officer of their own corporation with the goal being to make as much money as possible without going bankrupt or running out of time. Highly customizable, Capitalism Plus offers players the option to determine the type of map, part of the world, the aggressiveness and number of competitors, the number of cities, ports, specific goals and the time limit of any given scenario or multi-player game. Players must then make a bevy of decisions that affect everything from purchasing, hiring and advertising to where and when to build new factories. Random events, such as disease, riots and technological breakthroughs, also occur and affect the game's outcome.
